This listing is for FOUR PDF sewing patterns from Charlie’s Aunt. You will have access to four PDF files: The Sidestrand Bag, The Home Guard Clutch Bag, The Bon Bon Clutch Purse and the Cottage Garden Purse. I have totalled the price of the individual patterns and reduced that by more than 30% which means that by purchasing the bundle, you will in effect be getting four patterns for less than the price of three. I have chosen this selection because with the festive period coming soon, they would all make great gifts or would be ideal for the party season.

Sidestrand Bag
A graceful design with a 1930s feel featuring elegant asymmetrical styling and a sophisticated bow. Sidestrand is the perfect size and shape for smart daywear or special occasions. It looks stunning in a huge range of fabrics from tweeds and corduroy for classic daywear to pretty printed fabrics or even silk to elevate it into something very special. This vintage inspired pattern includes a template for an interior patch pocket, of which you can make one or two.
This PDF has 16 pages—10 pages including the cover, general, cutting out and step-by-step instructions, and 6 pattern sheets with the templates, which you must print and cut out. All of the templates are actual size and all seam allowances already added. As three of the templates are too big to fit on one sheet, you must cut out and tape these templates together where shown. Instructions for this are clear. The Sidestrand Bag’s approximate finished dimensions are: Height 8” (21cm), Width at widest point 14” (36cm), Base width 2” (5cm)

Home Guard Clutch
Inspired by the military styles of the wartime years, this pattern is for a simple envelope clutch bag. The pattern has two style choices. View 1 has a front inset and contrasting side panels which can be pieced together with three different fabrics. There is also an option to add a purchased handle. View 2 has a different shaped flap and front pocket reminiscent of the army uniforms of the era that influenced women’s fashions of the day. One of the Charlie’s Aunt Utility Range of easy patterns, this PDF also includes instructions for an interior pocket. This cute bag is a good size for housing the essentials and can be made up for day or evening use in everything from subtle wool tweeds to bright patchwork fabrics (view 1 takes three fat quarters). Finished bag dimensions: Approx. 8” (20cm) high by 14” (35cm) wide

Bon Bon Purse
This listing is a PDF sewing pattern to make the very charming and simple Charlie’s Aunt “Bon-Bon Clutch Purse”. Taking inspiration from the styles of the 1930s, the pattern provides full sized templates and instructions to make this cute vintage-style clutch purse with a zipper top, and featuring a self-fabric wrist strap and over-sized bow – as sweet as wrapped confectionery. The purse pattern is ideally made up in pretty silks for special occasion wear – when you just need a little bag to house your lipstick and keys. In bright wool tweeds, the purse is ideal for autumn or winter evenings out. This easy to make purse measures 10.5” wide by 6.5” high (27cm by 17cm) when finished.

Cottage Garden Purse
Inspired by the pretty, floral styles of the 1940s and 50s, this nostalgic sewing pattern includes templates for three different two-part purse styles, one with a straight horizontal seam, one with an angled seam, and a third with a vertical seam, or you can use the lining template and make a plain purse all in one fabric. Instructions to make trims are NOT included. The finished measurements of the purse are width 6.5” (16cm) and height 5” (12cm).
